Tremendous accomplishment for Natick community
Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Natick achieved a 5-star CMS rating following a recent in-depth review of the community. Natick is one of five Beaumont locations, all part of SALMON Health and Retirement.
Beaumont at Natick representatives received word last week of its 5-star status, evaluated annually through Department of Public Health (DPH) surveys and other materials submitted to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, (CMS) a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
“This rating reflects our entire team’s commitment, attention to detail and overall level of professionalism I can see taking place day in and day out” says Natick campus Executive Director Jessica Brigham, RN, BSN, LNHA.
The 5-star score follows a deficiency-free survey, given by the state Department of Public Health (DPH) after its annual visit and evaluation of the Natick center in June.
When rating locations, CMS takes into account these DPH surveys in addition to information about staff and 11 different physical and clinical quality measures determining the level of care provided to residents.
Reports SALMON Clinical Director Debbie Freedman, RN, BSN, MS, “This demonstrates the excellent care and service provided to our residents and clients. It does not come easily—only through hard work, dedication and teamwork. Congratulations to Natick on this honor.”
