Recognized for marketing and communications excellence
Director of Marketing Communications Kate Salmon-Robinson is proud to announce SALMON Health and Retirement’s mobile website was recognized with a 2015 merit award from the National Mature Media Awards in the category of Mobile Resource: Mobile Website.
These awards are the nation’s largest program that annually recognizes the best marketing, communications, educational materials and programs for adults age 50 and older. Entries are judged by Division and Category. Using a rating scale of 1 to 100, a panel of mature market experts judge the entries based on format, content, creativity, relevance and overall quality. The Web-based and Mobile category recognizes online and mobile programs—recognizing the growth of digital resources for older adults and their families.
“Because so many customers are accessing our website through cell phones and other mobile devices, we wanted to be sure our site was responsive to different layouts to provide the best possible experience. It had to be functional, aesthetically pleasing and true to the quality of our brand,” states Marketing Communications Technology Coordinator Kim Carr, who oversaw the design since its inception. “It’s extremely validating to win this award.”
SALMON’s website was designed by Wakefly, in collaboration with 3 Media Web, both of Westborough, MA.
