Join us at our First Annual Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, from 10 to 2 p.m.
So many of life’s most unforgettable moments involve cars: your first time driving on your own, your first date, bringing your first child home from the hospital, fun-filled family vacations and even driving up and down Main Street or around the town square in high school.
They’re more than modes of transportation — cars are our companions on life’s countless journeys.
That’s why car shows are for everyone. They bring people from all backgrounds and walks of life together to share and talk about their passion for automobiles, whether you collect them, work on them or simply used to drive them!
If you love looking at and talking about cars, then plan to speed (or cruise) on over to SALMON at Medway for our First Annual Car Show. Held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., it will feature an impressive lineup of classic cars, from luxury and custom to antique vehicles. The cars on display will appeal not only to those who love automobiles but also those who love engineering, design, art and a good tale or history lesson.
Because the cars will be judged on how they look, the owners will have them all polished up, freshly detailed, parked and ready for you to admire.
And they’ll be glad to share the stories behind their cars and the work they’ve put into restoring, repairing and caring for them. You may even learn some fun facts and gather some repair tips — or get a chance to share your own story about a special car you used to drive.
Whether you’re a car enthusiast or have never experienced an auto show before, you’ll find something to enjoy at SALMON at Medway’s First Annual Car Show! While you swap stories and memories, you’ll also get to enjoy a DJ, dancing and a delicious cookout. You can enter for a chance to win a raffle contest, too, where 50% of the proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Winners will be announced after 2 p.m. that same day.
Do you have your own set of wheels to display? We’d love to help you show it off! RSVP in advance or register your vehicle at the door that morning for $10. Registration fees also benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. And who knows … our Residents and ambassadors just might vote your vehicle as “Best Car” during this First Annual Car Show!
The event is free, open to the public and family friendly. What better way to wind down summer than to spend a late September Saturday at our First Annual Car Show? We can’t wait to see you (and admire those classic cars)!
