Matt Salmon

CEO of SALMON Health and Retirement, Matt Salmon, stated the organization is “looking forward to becoming part of Medway as good neighbors and friends.” In addition to the luxuries offered to future residents, The Willows and Whitney Place “will create jobs for 150 and join SALMON Health and Retirement’s well-known and respected sister communities.” Salmon ended his remarks by acknowledging “the Medway project is exciting but bittersweet, as we, along with every business and household, remain focused on fighting and eventually defeating COVID-19. We’re all looking forward to a future and we know that older adults will find this a safe, healthy, convenient and highly desirable lifestyle option. As we sign our names to the last structural beam this morning, let’s dedicate ourselves to that goal.”

State Representative Jeffrey Roy, who represents the towns of Medway and Franklin, looks forward to the introduction of the SALMON communities in Medway and joked that he is enthusiastic about retirement at The Willows in several years. Chairman John Foresto stated that the town of Medway “welcomes The Willows and Whitney Place at Medway to our community. These communities will provide a variety of senior residential living accommodations and aging-related services to Medway. We look forward to a positive relationship with SALMON Health and Retirement as Medway evolves to address the needs of this growing segment of our population.”
